...by the way, I exclusively use Galli Strings, a wonderful new string with perfect pitch and long durability! |
The Duo Casares/Lendle exists since 1983. Allthough his repertoire also includes works of the german romantic era (Schubert, Weber etc.) and contemporary original songs for voice and guitar (Britten, Erding, Musgrave etc.) the main weight of the repertoire however lies on the Ibero/Latin classical Liedoeuvre!
This is in so far of special interest for our geografic region, because on the one hand great part of this wonderfull literature is allmost unknown here and becomes rarely performed and on the other hand, because this music, beyond the spanish or portuguese words, being influenced by the folklore and having preserved a universal under-standing, allways succeeds in reaching the listeners instantly.
Bertha Casares Lendle (Mezzosoprano) first studied in her hometown Quito (Ecuador) with the northamerican singer Donna Klimoska and continued her professional training at the "Musikhochschule Saarbrücken" with Prof.R.Gilvan and later privately with Nurit Herzog-Goren (Kassel). She attended masterclasses with Maria Orán (Santiago de Compostela), Ingalill Linden (Salzburg) and H.Blaschke (Haus Marteau) and performed mostly together with her husband Wolfgang Lendle in Germany, Slovakia, Chequia, Polonia, Middle- and Southamerica.
